Beauty is more than skin deep
Countless studies have proven what we all know intuitively- there are advantages to being attractive. This can arise from better work or social opportunities, or simply from greater self-esteem. My husband Gary and I attended the CNE the other night and he suggested I try for a prize at the ‘guess your age’ booth.
I had a blepharoplasty and neck lift last winter, but I don;t think I look radically different – just better, which is what I wanted.
Well, the professional age guesser really studied my face and wrote age 50 on his pad.
I’m 67! He was 17 years out.The poor guy never had a chance! He told me I should keep on doing whatever I was doing and then announced to the audience that maybe it was time he quit his job!
Too bad the prizes were so crappy but we sure had a lot of laughs.
As we walked away, I thought to myself, “thank you Dr. Kreidstein.”
