We don't generally over-correct in lid and brow surgery, but in situations where there is a very heavy brow or upper lid, it is necessary to prevent relapse (recurrence) of the deformity. This early post-op photo looks a little 'done', but will relax over the first 6-8 weeks and look great.

There are many option for correcting a depressed brow position. Lifting the tissues directly above the eyebrows is a good option, with a quick recovery time and reliable results. A upper and lower lid blepharoplasty complemented the browlift effect in this case.

A tear-trough hollow under the eyelids may become more pronounced with age, and one solution is to release the ligament that defines the fold and place excess lower lid fat under the fold to smoothen it out.
